About Us
Dr. Robert D. Fuller - Bob is a native of Leesburg. He graduated with honors from the University of Virginia in 1982 and from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1986. Bob is a current member of the American Dental Association. Bob and Joy have been practicing conservative Family Dentistry in Leesburg for 20 years. Bob keeps busy coaching and volunteering for his three children's sports.
Dr. Joy H. Spencer-Fuller - Being a member of a Navy family, Joy grew up on both coasts. She graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1982 and the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1986. While starting their practice here in Leesburg in 1986, Joy was the director of the Fairfax County Senior Citizen Dental Clinic for five years. She is a past President of the Loudoun County Dental Society and a current member of the American Dental Association. She keeps very busy with three children and three dogs. Joy also enjoys gardening, cooking, sewing, skiing, and loves to travel.
Dr. Lee Welstead - Lee is a native of Northern Virginia, having grown up in McLean. He graduated with honors from Virginia Tech prior to receiving his degree from the Medical College of Virginia School of Dentistry in 1998. He spent four years in the Air Force furthering his training in many disciplines including advanced oral surgery and sedation dentistry. Lee is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the Loudoun Dental Study Club. During his non-working hours, he spends his time with his wife and two children. He also enjoys traveling, basketball, and fishing.
Betty - Betty has been with our office the longest and has worked in Dental Administration for 18 years. Prior to a career in dentistry, she worked as a pharmacy technician at Loudoun Hospital. She graduated from Loudoun County High School in 1977 and attended Northern Virginia Community College and Radford University. Betty is a native of Leesburg and enjoys golf, bowling, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Laura - Laura has been with our practice for several years. She currently shares the administrative responsibilities with Betty. She is originally from College Park, Maryland and attended the University of Maryland. She has more than 25 years experience in management and customer relations. She is the mother of two adults, Vanessa and Dustin, and the grandmother of Donovan, age 4. She enjoys sports and resides in Winchester with her husband, Bob.
Holly - Holly is a registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated in May of 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from West Virginia University. She is originally from western Pennsylvania and currently resides in Leesburg. She enjoys music and spending time outside.
Karin - Karin is a registered Dental Hygienist. She graduated from West Virginia University in 1987 and received a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene. Karin currently resides in Leesburg with her husband, Bobby, and they keep busy with their three sons, Korey, Kyle, and Cameron.
Teresa - Teresa is a registered Dental Hygienist. She received an Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from the Virginia Western Community College in Roanoke in 1982. In 1985, Teresa also received a Bachelor of Science in Community Health Education from Virginia Tech. She lives in Leesburg with her husband and two children.
Suzanne - Suzanne is a certified Dental Assistant. She received her Dental Assistant Certification from Fairfax County Adult Continuing Education. Suzanne and her husband, Lloyd, grew up in Fairfax and currently reside in Linden. She keeps busy with her two young sons. Suzanne enjoys the beach, reading and spending time with her family.
Tracy - Tracy is one of our newest dental team members. She has been a dental assistant for the past ten years in Mississippi. She has worked both in general practice dentistry and orthodontics. She and her husband, Ronnie, relocated to Loudoun County due to Hurricane Katrina. They live in Ashburn with their miniature dachshund, "Ballpark".
Shannon - Shannon is one of our dental assistants, with over 17 years experience. She has specialized assistant training in IV sedation with oral surgery as well as endodontics and general dentistry. She is originally from Canada and currently resides in Winchester with her husband and two children. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and baking.
